The Signs of God

So I've been busy with things other than weddings during the holiday season. Let me rephrase, I am still busy with weddings but have also added other things to my plate! One of those things, I'd like to share...



I recently designed the album art for my friend Reuben Bidez's new album, "The Signs of God." This album is meant to form a bridge between Christians and Muslims - acknowledging the things the two groups have in common, instead of their very famous disagreements. The songs are written with the help of verses in the Qur'an about some of the most famous characters in the Bible (Adam, Jonah, Moses, Jesus...).

It's a beautiful record full of great musicians and Reuben's exceptional voice. It will be for sale on Tuesday, December 27th via iTunes or reubenbidez.com, and you can watch a little sneak peek here:

Invitations: Lindsay and Kyle, Pt. 2

It's been a little while, mostly because we've been moving from Glendale, AZ back to Atlanta (with a little stop for Thanksgiving and a conference in Orlando in between). Since I haven't had access to my camera for about two months, I haven't been able to take pictures of any new wedding invitations... but I have good news!

The kind photographer for one of my October weddings, Lindsay Christerson from AD Photography, sent me some images that I can share with you!

If the style looks familiar, it's because this is the second half of Lindsay and Kyle's wedding suite that I shared with you this summer. I love being able to share these photos because you get to see the paper in action!







Programs, menus, placecards with calligraphy, and favor tags. All of them carry over the lace pattern that you saw in the invitations - as well as the "bling" on the menus! The wedding was at The Carl House in Auburn, GA, and I thought these elegant paper accessories really came to life in the beautifully styled dining room. Not to mention how wonderful everything looked with the "blinged-out" floral arrangements...




I think it was the perfect October wedding: elegant, rich and vivid. Hopefully I'll grab my camera soon and I can update you on all the other suites I worked on this summer and fall!
