Viral Video, or Save the Date?

How about both!? We all remember those people who walked down the aisle to Chris Brown's Forever from their viral YouTube video. We also remember when Pam and Jim immortalized the video in their wedding episode of The Office. If making a recording of your great wedding idea can bring in 62 million viewers, why not embrace the opportunity!?

Save the Dates are meant to be fun, lively, full of personality. They serve one purpose, to let your guests know that you are engaged and they will be invited to the wedding! With such a flexible objective and simple message to send, why not get creative?

Well my friends Justin and Elisha did just that. During their engagement photo session, they also brought along a videographer to roll some tape - and then edited the footage down to make a YouTube Save the Date! It's so cute, it shares so much of their personality, and sending it to all their friends was free! Watch it here:

And here are some of their beautiful engagement photos from the same shoot, by Ashah Photography:

Everything about this wedding is going to be great, because Justin and Elisha have their priorities in order - the first one being fun! And I don't mean to spoil any surprises, but a food truck from The Varsity is catering the reception - can you say paper hats for everyone!?

  1. SO AWESOME!!! They are brilliant for this. If I think about having to miss any more weddings this summer I'm going to lose it...seriously.
