Abbie sent me lots of inspirational pictures: vintage finds, quirky furniture, pretty interiors and embellished textiles.

The feeling I got was a very feminine and subdued palette of neutrals, made special with fine details. And what is more detailed and feminine than lace and calligraphy? With this idea, I moved forward with a tonal combination of antique greys and a lace-inspired pattern.

For the response cards, we added a little personal humor to the options. (Accepts with a vigorous cheer, declines with sadness, could use a tissue) We just assumed whoever couldn't make it to the wedding would obviously shed tears over it. Of course!

I had a little room left on the press sheet, so I went ahead and made some square tags to match - they can be used as favor tags, on hotel room goodie bags, anything! I really don't like wasting paper, so if I ever have some to spare, I use it.

By the way - these photos were taken by the same talented lady that shot Hayley and Reuben's wedding - Callie Murray. We were at Ambient Plus Studio, the location of The Not Wedding 2011, and she took these pictures and a few headshots... I was absolutely blown away by the awesomeness of this headshot (honestly, it's like 30% me and 70% Callie's lighting and camera skills!).

Super excited for round two of these invitations, more projects with Callie, the Not Wedding and more Spring/Summer. Keep reading!

Those invites are almost as pretty as you are. JK they aren't even close. You look beautiful, as always! Let's hang out for real soon.
