The Envelopments set of paper, pockets, envelopes, and accessories can be just what the doctor ordered for many brides. Sometimes you don't have a specific theme that you want to depict on your invitations. Sometimes you just like certain patterns or color combinations, and Envelopments has a huge range of paper choices to build something uniquely perfect from the ground up. Within thirty minutes of sitting down with some paper samples at a nearby Starbucks, Anna and I had constructed something she loved, and I really enjoyed getting to give Anna the "bridal treatment" so many girls miss while they're shopping for the most important invitations of their lives online.
This the invite set assembled, disassembled in the first picture. Since Anna was busy figuring out all the other parts of her wedding, I did the assembly for her for a reasonable charge, an option that I always offer.
My favorite part about these invitations ended up being the mixture of pattern, shine, and texture. Each layer had it's own unique characteristic that it brought into the mix, giving these invitations a gorgeous weight and finish. The bottom layer is Envelopments Mehndi pattern in pale pink on White Linen, the middle layer is metallic Bronze, and the top layer is textured matte Powder. The envelopes are Ecru Linen - we used three different shades of white in this set, and I think it gave the overall look some elegant depth.
