"The Bride" in question is my old friend Tara McKee, and I happened upon the opportunity to put together her wedding stationery for her, which was such an honor. I used paper from Envelopments (Powder Blue and Kumquat) with offset printing in Warm Grey.

Tara and Zane are having an outdoor spring wedding at Everman Park in Abilene, Texas. These fresh spring colors and the pretty paisley pattern made this invite feel airy and fun.

Tara, like lots of brides, chose to go with a postcard response. This cuts down the price of the extra envelope and cuts the postage on these pieces by about 40% (a postcard stamp is only .28 cents right now). Since the front of this paper was so pretty already, we left it blank, with response information printed on the back.

After all was said and done, these invites ended up being cost efficient without ending up impersonal and bland - which is my main goal as a designer... one of the biggest missions of Buzzy Craftery is to provide people custom, unique options at a great price. Everyone's wedding should be as unique and special as they are!

SO. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI got your birthday package in the mail. You are too sweet! Thanks for being so thoughtful. I hope things are going well in Savannah; I'm jonesing to visit sometime in the late summer when I come home.
Keep up the gorgeous work! Xox
