Also, since I work at the Paper Affair, I have had lots of opportunities to think about what kind of stationary I'd like for this business, and a few weeks ago, I finally made a decision. I ordered business cards and notecards from the classic stationer: Crane & Co. The business cards are printed in thermography and the notecards are engraved (very fancy, made affordable by Crane's current promotion: buy at least 100 cards, get your engraving dies for free!). Of course, before I ordered cards and such, I had to finalize a logo.
Around Christmas I realized that I have, and should have, an affinity for bees since my last name is an onomatopoeia and all... Collin ordered a beautiful necklace from Etsy for me, and this necklace helped inspire me!

The paper I chose is called "Azure Blue" and I had them printed in Medium Gold. I also had the envelopes lined (splurge!) in gold as well.

Here's a close up of the business card...

and the notecard...

On a completely different note, it snowed a couple times in Georgia this year - which almost never happens - and I found this picture I took a couple of weeks ago on Collin's camera. I thought it was pretty, so I decided to share! Snow!

these are amazing girl! They look so great. I don't know if I told you this, but we are adopting. And I have already decided (a few months ago) that I want to decorate the nursery in vintage look bumble bees. Maybe I can pay you to design some for me!
