For my last semester of college, I had to create one cohesive work for a final senior exhibition. I chose to create my own "boutique," named buzzy. An idea that, as you can see, has grown and manifested itself into some other kinds of things... but anyway, the idea for this boutique would be that everything was handmade. I designed a series of textiles, and then used those textiles to create objects that would be "for sale." I also included small things here and there that I had made over the course of my education, almost as little reminders that I always knew I'd get to this point. Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the rest of the talking:
Looking back now, already, there are things I would have done differently. But all in all, it was a great effort, and in my opinion, a pretty good way to end a degree program.
