The NotWedding: Web Redesign and Expansion

If you've followed Buzzy Craftery for a bit you'll know that we've worked alongside The NotWedding since 2011 - as a featured vendor, but also as the behind-the-scenes design team for the marketing materials and website.

It's a fun job and I love (LOVE) being able to help The NotWedding grow and expand. This month we've got some very exciting updates - a brand new website design and expansion to many more cities over the course of the year! Here's a snapshot of the new home page:

Buzzy Craftery took the existing NotWedding logo and went from there - designing the foundation and style, the colors/themes, and even creating a pretty intense flow chart for how the site would be laid out. We worked with a great developer to make it all actually work (not my skill set - haha) and after a few revisions, we had a rockstar site ready to handle traffic from across the country!

This year, the NotWedding will expand to a host of new cities, including Los Angeles, New York City, Nashville, Athens, Charleston and Cape Cod. Here's a screen shot of the interactive map we created for the Events page:

As a vendor, we'll be attending the New York City event and couldn't be more excited! Obviously I have a soft spot for New York :)

Go check out the new website and come to an event this year! Go to one city - go to a couple!

Published: Allison and Aziz on Style Me Pretty!

There are so many (MANY) things I need to catch up on photographing, documenting, blogging and updating on the website, but today is about Allison and Aziz! Their beautiful Athens wedding is up on SMP GA Weddings - go take a look - but I wanted to share a few more images that we took while we were running around, hanging and fluffing!



These bouquets were filled with hydrangea, campanella roses, ranunculus, veronica, anemone and feverfew.

The cake table (covered in 14 cakes from Cecelia Villaveces Cakes in Athens, GA) was so delicious looking, and smelling, that we had to fight off grown adults until after the cake cutting!





The landscape, provided by the Founders' Garden on UGA campus, was absolutely breathtaking - especially on a gorgeous October day.




And, of course, what's a wedding without streamers and stripey straws?








We loved every second of this beautiful day! Our favorite moment was when the bride walked down the aisle to "Sweet Disposition." What a tear-jerker!
